Launch workshop of the midwifery student exchange program as part of the MIMIN project
As part of the MIMIN project, this workshop made it possible to prepare the
exchange program between INMES (Benin) and the University of
Metropolia (Finland) as part of the MIMIN project. With the support of partners Sari Haapio and Sanna-Mari Mannine, this program aims to promote an enriching academic and cultural exchange between midwifery students from the two countries. This partnership includes
internships, meetings and mobility opportunities
Workshop to review national data on multi-drug resistant bacteria
Ms. Fabiyi Kafayath took part in the national data review workshop on multi-drug resistant bacteria, organized at the CNHU-HKM auditorium. This event, funded by the World Health Organization (WHO), was a platform for reflection on the challenges and strategies facing antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
During this two-day workshop, she gave a conference highlighting URMAPha's initiatives in the fight against microbials.

Dr Esse Phenix Assogba participated in a crucial workshop aimed at strengthening antimicrobial resistance (AMR) surveillance in Benin. Organized by FAO, this five-day workshop will focus on assessing the capacity of laboratories and AMR surveillance systems, using the PMP tool-
ATLASS.
1st edition of the communication science conference
Dr Fréjus Ohouko from URMAPha actively participated in the first
edition of ComSciCon at the University of Parakou. He co-led a session on “Presenting Research Results to the General Public,” sharing strategies for success in the MT180s competition. An enriching experience for doctoral students and young researchers.
Launch of the PRD VALUCHAM project
The PRD VALUCHAM project was launched on October 22, 2024 at the University
of Abiomey-Calavi, with the participation of North and South partners. This project
aims to promote the sustainable use of the Uvaria chamae plant in the
diabetes management. This event marked a key step in strengthening the
collaboration between traditional medicine and scientific research,
paving the way for innovative and sustainable solutions for the development of
health in Benin.
