Launch of the PRD VALUCHAM project
The PRD VALUCHAM project was launched on October 22, 2024 at the University
of Abiomey-Calavi, with the participation of North and South partners. This project
aims to promote the sustainable use of the Uvaria chamae plant in the
diabetes management. This event marked a key step in strengthening the
collaboration between traditional medicine and scientific research,
paving the way for innovative and sustainable solutions for the development of
health in Benin.

Celebration of female leadership as part of the Agodjié Prize
Ms. Fabiyi Kafayath from URMAPha, winner of the prestigious Agodié Prize, brilliantly participated in a panel and a masterclass dedicated to inspiring and encouraging young women. Global Health Impact Summit and Global Health Conference
During a panel on climate change, Dr Hounmanou Gildas,
representing the “Benin Health” project, shared his thoughts on the alert
early development and resilience to waterborne infections. He highlighted
