This project thus contributes to the development of local skills, the improvement
of the quality of education and the strengthening of North-South cooperation in the
field of health and biological sciences.

1. Context

Academic mobility constitutes an essential lever for capacity building
scientific and pedagogical in higher education. As part of the
partnership between the University of Helsinki (Finland) and the University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin),
this mobility program aims to promote exchanges of expertise in microbiology
medical and molecular. Each year, teacher-researchers and students
participate in training and research stays, promoting the sharing of
knowledge, the transfer of skills and the co-construction of scientific knowledge.
This project thus contributes to the development of local skills, the improvement
of the quality of education and the strengthening of North-South cooperation in the
field of health and biological sciences.

2. Objectives

General Objective

Strengthening capacities and skills in higher education through
transfer of skills.

Specific Objectives

- Strengthen the technical, educational and scientific capacities of teacher-researchers in medical and molecular microbiology through short-term exchanges between Finland and Benin. - Provide students with practical training and research opportunities advanced in international academic environments in order to improve their skills and employability.
