Validation and Quality Control of traditional medicines improved by URMAPha in 2024
In 2024, URMAPha has intensified its commitment to medicine
traditional, by working closely with more than 20 traditional therapists to
analyze and validate the quality of their herbal products. Nearly 25
phytomedicines have been subjected to in-depth analyzes to ensure their
safety and effectiveness. URMAPha activities included:
Microbiological qualification: Identification of pathogenic bacteria such as
Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and total coliforms, to ensure
product safety.
Toxicity tests: Assessment of potential risks associated with the use of
products, by identifying possible harmful effects on health.
